Hyatt Place Indianapolis / Fishers

My overall stay was delightful. Only one of the front desk people lacked hospitality but the rest were great! My daughter and I enjoyed our time. Only one issue with the breakfast area. A man asked to take food upstairs to his wife and the individual was helpful to him. I asked the same person the next morning for my daughter to have a plate taken upstairs and all of a sudden it’s forbidden and she was clueless until I brought up the other guy. Many eyebrows raised but anywho we ended up dining at a near by breakfast restaurant. It was amazing. Would stay again.

Here for business. Hotel was conveniently located. The bathroom design sucks. The mirror is about 3 feet from the edge of the sink, so it’s extremely difficult to see while shaving. The towels are very small. I’m just slightly larger than average human athletic build and the towel just barely wraps around my waist with a slit for easy access lol. The coffee was pretty decent except for 1 day it taste like they didn’t refresh the grounds. Breakfast was normal for a hotel. One of the people at the front desk was really lacking hospitality attitude, yet the rest of the staff was great. Would stay again.

I was put up here for a week long stay while I did training for my job at a facility close by. I found the room to be nice, breakfast was great, and the service was decent. However, my issue came in the days after I left. I started noticing multiple bug bites appear on my skin and after doing some research, they were consistent with bed bug bites (usually appear a few days after being bitten and appear in tracks along the skin like a path). I thoroughly cleaned everything I had brought with me to the hotel as well as my own bed and bedding. I saw no traces of any bugs in my house and I had never had any issues with bug bites in my home. This hotel was the only place I stayed at during my trip. I called the hotel multiple times and asked for a manager. Every time they directed the call to the manager’s phone, it went to voicemail. I left multiple voicemails for him to call me back and I never got a call back. I even talked to a supervisor on the phone and told them my concerns of bed bugs. I gave them the room number I stayed in and they said they would look into it and get back to me. I have heard nothing. This was a month ago and still nothing. So if you’re going to stay here, CHECK YOUR BED THOROUGHLY. Side note: A guest that was in my training class also had issues with her room. After being gone at training all day, she came back to find her bed had been peed in—the head of the bed, not like someone had wet the bed. After hours of going back and forth about getting the bed cleaned since there were no rooms available on the Hyatt Place side, they ended up switching her to the Hyatt House side. They also said they were going to look into who was in her room while she was gone, but they never got back with her about what happened.

Very nice location and hotel! Our room was very comfortable and clean. The pool is a bit small but still nice. Breakfast was decent and food from the onsite restaurant was really good! The workout room was definitely one of the best I have ever seen in a hotel. There were several guests there when we stayed but the noise level seemed good. They also have nearly anything you could need in the lobby to purchase, such as snacks, beverages, and personal items. Several amazing restaurants within walking distance and a short drive to IKEA and top golf.

my daughter was on a business trip and stayed at their hotel for a 4 night stay. She usually calls me to let me know that she back in her room so that I she’s safe. I made several calls to her cell phone and her room and was unable to reach her. I explained my concerns to the front desk and the person I spoke to did not seem the lease bit interested in my concerns. I told my daughter of my experience and she will NOT be staying at their hotel again.

Pretty decent hotel, however the HVAC rattled all night which made it very difficult to sleep and woke me up earlier than planned. The rooms were clean as was the rest of the property inside and out. Breakfast was ok and the staff was friendly working the breakfast area. Glass cups in the room were stored upright which was odd. The clock was also 15 minutes fast for some reason.
